Learn safe diving skills in The Hornchurch Sportcentre & Loughton Leisure Centre swimming pools giving you the very best scuba training facilites in the south east.  Then spend just one or two days on holiday completing your qualifying dives on a beautiful coral reef! 
We'll teach you all the necessary skills during our flexible, Professional Association of Diving Instructors, courses. PADI  Referral Courses from Just £179. These Internationally recognised certification courses start throughout the week.

If you have never tried Scuba Diving, or if you would just like to learn more. Why not take part in one of our Discover Scuba Diving, (try dive) sessions for adults or children aged from 10 years or the Bubblemaker session for children aged from 8 years. These sessions cost just £15 (Normally £25) Everything is included, just bring your swimming costume, towel and a smile.

Which Course is for me?
PADI SCUBA DIVER COURSE. This course gives you a limited SCUBA certification which will allow you to dive up to 12m, under PADI Instructor supervision. The course consists of 3 to 4 pool dives (the referral option £179) and 2 Open Water dives. (From £25 each) These qualifying dives can be completed on your Next Holiday or can be taken here in England  The course is suitable for adults and children aged from 10 to 80

PADI OPEN WATER DIVER COURSE. This course gives you a full certification that allows you to dive up to a depth of 18m without supervision. The course consists of  5 to 6 pool dives (the referral option £239) and 4 Open Water dives. (From £35 each) These qualifying dives can be completed on your Next Holiday or can be taken here in England. The course is for adults and children aged from 10 to 80

Unsure which course to take? start with the PADI SCUBA Diver course and upgrade to the PADI Open Water Diver later. (Total for both courses £239)

How Do I Start? You can start Today! Just email or phone for a  booking form, which can be sent to you by email; or by post, or phone us on 01992 815960 and we will arrange for you to come down to the pool for your first session. During this session you will receive your crew pack, pictured opposite, which includes your Course manual Dive Log book and Recreational Dive planner.  All course materials are for you to keep.

First Session, Your instructor will guide you through scuba equipment assembly and then help you take your first breaths underwater!  During this session you progress from the shallower to the deeper water as your confidence and skill levels increase.  After the pool session you will review diving theory.  Unsure which course to take? Why not have a try dive on one of our Discover Scuba Diving sessions just £15 or alternatively, start with the PADI SCUBA Diver course and upgrade to the PADI Open Water Diver later.. (within 12 months)

Rest of the course: You will complete the in-water training and practice and perfect your buoyancy skills during the next four sessions.  After each session you will review the theory and then complete the academic training by sitting quizzes and exams. On completion of the course you receive the referral certification card which is valid for up to 12 months. You can then complete the 4 qualifying Open Water dives whilst on holiday. Either on a Sublime escorted holiday, where your tour guide is also your instructor or at one of the 1000's of PADI dive centres world-wide. Once you have completed the Open Water course you will be a fully qualified diver and awarded a certificate and identification card which confirms your level of training.  This qualification is recognised world wide and allows you to dive with other qualified divers.

When is it and where does the experience take place? You can start straight away, Sessions take place  Tuesday, Evenings 8:00PM and Saturday Afternoons 1:30PM at the Hornchurch sportcentre swimming pool and Sunday Evenings 7:00PM at The Loughton Leisure Centre swimming Pool.   Click here for further pool information
Are there any restrictions? A declaration of fitness form must be completed prior to the first pool session. The experience is open to anyone of 10 years and above. (8 years for Junior courses)
What happens when I book the experience? After completing the booking form and returning it to us with a deposit of £85, (Payment can also be paid By Credit or Debit Card) we will confirm your start date and arrange for you to receive the Crew pack, which includes The manual, dive tables and log book. We recommend booking at least 7 days in advance to guarantee availability on your chosen start date.
About the instructors All of our instructors belong to the Professional Association of Diving Instructors. (PADI) We pride ourselves on high standards of teaching and professionalism.
